School Uniform

At Little Horsted we are proud to wear our school uniform. 

The school colours are brown, yellow and grey.

The uniform includes:

 • Brown school sweatshirt, jumper or cardigan and/or fleece

• White polo shirt

• Grey skirt, pinafore, trousers or shorts

•  Yellow and white checked summer dresses/skort

• Grey tights or black or grey socks

• Black/brown school shoes

In PE children should wear:

 • Yellow T-shirt/Polo Shirt

• Black shorts/joggers/leggings

• Black or grey socks

• Black plimsolls

• Black tracksuit bottoms

• Trainers for outdoor use

 Plimsolls (not trainers) should always be worn for indoor PE unless working in bare feet.

For safety reasons pumps and open toes should be avoided (i.e. ‘fashion’ shoes should not be worn in school).

No jewellery, other than plain stud (not hoop) earrings (one in each ear only) should be worn to school. Earrings should be removed or covered for PE. Please provide your child with a supply of sticking plasters or plaster tape for this purpose. Nail varnish should not be used at school.

Branded school uniform is available using the link below.  However, as a school, we encourage purchases from supermarkets and other local retailers. There is no expectation to have branded products.

At Little Horsted, we regularly run second-hand school uniform sales to help families reduce costs while promoting sustainability and giving clothes a second life and reducing waste.
